Estelle has developed superior local and regional media contacts over 15 years. In addition, she has publication credits in the major urban newspapers and with the Latino Media Group. She also founded and edited Hispanically Speaking News, reaching 500,000 Latinx households. She particularly enjoys the challenge of securing national newspaper and industry placements.
Estelle originally partnered with Purpose Brand on social responsibility projects with her Latino Media Network websites for the U.S. Latino market. LMN is part of EGW Strategy Partners, a digital advisory firm she co-founded in 2009. EGW Strategy Partners is involved in digital transformation thought leadership and the implementation of agile methodology to digital strategy. Estelle helps clients engage stakeholders through action plans tied to measurable results.
Prior to co-founding EGW Strategy Partners, Estelle served as President/CEO of Converse Industries, a national nanotechnology manufacturer for nearly two decades. In a series of finance and operational functions, she led communication policy, analysis of capital investment opportunities and operational efficiency projects.
Long active in community affairs, Estelle has served on numerous civic and nonprofit boards including the Museum of Science and Industry, Ravinia Festival and Kohl Children’s Museum. A founding member of Nuestro Futuro, she works with organizations to promote Latinx art and culture. Estelle has been recognized as a Women of Achievement by the State of Wisconsin and the Anti-Defamation League, and honored by the Archdiocese of Chicago and the Mexican Civic Society of Illinois.
