Media Relations Coordinator

John Hiltner values relationships and collaboration in his agile approach to media relations.

John honed media targeting, pitching, curation and outreach skills while supporting social media initiatives. His clients have spanned consumer packaged goods, finance, manufacturing and philanthropy. His earned media outreach has secured placements in broadcast, B2B and B2C media. Prime placements include Allrecipes, Business Insider, CNET, Parade and Popsugar. 

John was a key contributor to the Werther’s Original pocket denim giveaway, the brand’s first merchandise activation in its century-long history. He has also represented Alliant Credit Union, Casper’s ice cream, Double Good popcorn, Louisiana Fish Fry cooking products, Mamba candy and Morgan Li fixtures.

He’s passionate about arming consumers and stakeholders with as much information as possible. John earned a bachelor of science in journalism strategic communication from Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism.
