John Engle believes in the wisdom of the crowd and the power of financial and human capital.

Purpose Brand’s chief brand strategist leads clients through a similar process to develop brand positioning and purpose positioning – both start from a brand architecture that reflects the core competencies and strategic advantages of the business.

Research reveals and validates stakeholder concerns. The findings inform an authentic approach, in which messages reflect and enhance a company’s core competencies and strategic objectives.

John is an avid proponent of the transformational power of technology. As a consultant on equity crowdfunding, he’s committed to helping the democratization of venture capital, especially in the medical technology and cannabis industries. His analytical approach has academic heft: John earned a postgraduate diploma from the London School of Economics, and holds an MBA from Oxford’s Saïd Business School, a master’s degree from Trinity College Dublin and a bachelor’s from the University of Oxford.

In his off hours, John indulges his taste for in science fiction, especially Robert Heinlein, Poul Anderson and other golden-age authors.
