Birthing an International Life Sciences Center
The Chicago ARC is a joint venture uniting the successful open innovation model of global top 10 hospital Sheba Medical Center with a U.S. market-driven approach developed by Kaleidoscope Health Ventures (KHV). Anchored in the 100-acre Bronzeville Lakefront development, the Chicago ARC Innovation Center will connect the best talent in science, talent, technology and data to develop and scale innovation that promotes better health outcomes across all communities.
The Challenge
Chicago ARC is Sheba’s first North American innovation hub. The partners sought to introduce the facility–and its model for commercialization for life sciences research–on a local, regional, national and international level, involving international stakeholders in government and private enterprise.
The Solution
Purpose Brand announced the initiative through a variety of channels–including press releases, story placements, personalized media pitches and special events–to reach targeted audiences. Beginning with the launch of the partnership and culminating with a recap of an international event that brought together the Israeli government, Sheba Hospital, the State of Illinois and KHV in front of a select audience of Chicago CEOs. The resulting media coverage raised international awareness through placements in key real estate, health care and business media outlets.
