Chip has successfully managed teams, large and small, in media, SAAS product development and business development. He has consistently delivered complex projects and products, on time and on budget, always making his clients very happy. Chip is cool in high-pressure situations, and thrives in agile and lean environments.
He started his career as a page at CBS working for “The Late Show With Dave Letterman.” Since then Chip has overseen the production of 50 hours of national television programming for CBS, National Geographic, History, Discovery and A&E. Chip also has practiced as an intellectual property attorney, and takes pride in negotiating contracts that satisfy both parties.
Chip earned his business chops in the startup world. He was the director of business development at a venture-funded tech startup in the legal education space, where he devised and executed sales strategy and messaging that took the product from zero users to licenses at more than 20 leading graduate schools in less than six months of outreach (which in legal ed is moving at light speed).
His content development expertise has earned Chip recognition as well. Among Chip’s academic and documentary awards, he’s won an Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE) Award for outstanding investigation on network television, and has been nominated for two national Emmy Awards, for outstanding investigative journalism and outstanding coverage of a continuing news story.
