After more than two decades of creating and executing marketing and communications strategies, Deanna Heuschel can deal with disruption.

Purpose Brand’s VP of strategic accounts believes transformational change requires the creativity to develop original ideas, the ability to implement them and the mettle to prioritize and perfect continuous improvement. Deanna has done all that as a purpose-driven adviser to organizations of every size. Her entrepreneurial spirit and ingenuity have helped her develop and implement programs to generate inclusive, substantial, profitable and sustainable growth.

When a national multichannel distributor acquired a company where Deanna headed marketing and communications, the new CEO tapped her to rebrand and integrate the company and 13 more the conglomerate later acquired. Leading corporate communications, corporate social responsibility, public relations, digital marketing and agency management for all brands, Deanna helped revenues grow from $500 million to $2 billion in less than two years.

In a prior position, Deanna created an in-house agency to design, write and produce print and digital marketing materials for the global brands they served. The program substantially reduced outsourcing expenses, helped retain strategic accounts and won new business from major clients, adding millions of dollars to the company’s bottom line. Seven years later, that in-house agency is still thriving and raking in revenue.

An astute and effective partner to her clients, Deanna excels at solving issues and fine-tuning programs to avoid downtime, forfeiture or loss. Her track record of building brands, processes and teams prepares her to guide Purpose Brand clients at critical junctures. She relishes complex projects that involve integrated and cross-channel efforts and knows how to reach and activate targeted audiences.

Deanna is a talented storyteller in every medium, a quality that enables her to communicate the compelling narratives of brands, cultures and communities. Her expertise has made a difference in charitable projects ranging from feeding the hungry to furnishing homes for homeless families and veterans. She is a passionate and energetic activist and remarkably generous with her personal time while raising two active and thought-provoking teenage sons. She earned a BA in journalism from Ohio State University.
